Best private golf clubs in Nevada

Nevada is two club markets that happen to share a state line. The Las Vegas valley is desert golf built alongside master-planned real estate — most of it post-1990, much of it behind residential gates, and almost none of it publishing what membership costs. Reno and the Tahoe basin trade year-round play for elevation, mountain routings and a genuinely seasonal calendar, which changes what a membership is worth per round.

Golf carries roughly half the weight here and clubhouse amenities carry almost none. Course design, documented renovation work, practice facilities and tee-time access are what move a club up this list, which is why a club with a spectacular clubhouse and an ordinary routing ranks lower here than on the overall list. We looked at 17 eligible clubs in Nevada and could publish a defensible score for 14. Where a club publishes nothing about a category, that category is excluded from its score rather than guessed at — a club is never penalised for our missing data, but it cannot be rewarded for evidence that does not exist.

TPC Summerlin in Las Vegas leads at 81.3, partly because it documents family and youth where the middle of this list publishes nothing. The spread from top to bottom is 15.2 points, with the median club at 75.4 — close enough through the middle that a single verified fact can move several places, which is exactly why we date every snapshot instead of presenting the order as settled.

3 of the 14 clubs here publish an initiation fee or dues schedule — Red Rock Country Club, The Summit Club and Glenbrook Club. The rest route pricing to a phone call, so their cost fields are marked unknown rather than estimated, and the value score can only be computed for the clubs that publish.

The thinnest evidence in Nevada is value (3 of 14 clubs). Those gaps are the most likely reason this order changes: as clubs publish more, or as verified member reviews accumulate, we recompute and publish a new dated snapshot rather than quietly rewriting this one.

Private clubs scored with golf weighted heavily: course design, conditioning, practice facilities and tee-time access. Amenity strength counts for very little here.
